Fin.com, the payments startup founded by Pakistani-born entrepreneurs, has raised $20 million in fresh funding, with plans to expand across South Asia and launch new products for small and medium enterprises.
The round was led by regional investors, with participation from existing backers. The company says the capital will fuel product development and market expansion.

From Pakistan to the region

The founders, who were born in Pakistan before building careers abroad, say they want to bring world-class payments infrastructure to the region's underserved SMEs.
"We grew up seeing how hard it is for small businesses to get paid," one founder said. "Fin.com exists to change that — starting with Pakistan, then across South Asia."

The SME opportunity

South Asia's SMEs represent a massive, underbanked market. Millions of businesses still rely on cash and manual processes, creating an opening for digital payments platforms.
Fin.com's platform offers invoicing, payment links and settlement tools designed for businesses that have never accepted digital payments before.

Competition heats up

The startup enters a crowded field, with local players and global giants all chasing the region's digital payments opportunity. Fin.com's founders say their edge is deep local knowledge combined with global product standards.
"We understand these merchants because we are these merchants' families," the founder added.

What's next

With the new funding, Fin.com plans to launch in two additional South Asian markets within the year, alongside new lending-adjacent products for SMEs.
For Pakistan's startup ecosystem, the raise is another sign that diaspora founders are increasingly looking homeward.
