OpenAI has officially introduced GPT-6 Astra, a new generation of AI designed to handle far more complex and demanding tasks than previous models.
GPT-6 Astra delivers major improvements across software engineering, web research, computer use, science, cybersecurity, and professional workflows. The model can work through long, multi-step assignments and create documents, spreadsheets, presentations, code, and other professional outputs while following detailed user instructions.
OpenAI is initially rolling Astra out to a limited group of organizations, with access expanding to ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise users. The company also plans to make GPT-6 Astra available through the OpenAI API, Microsoft Azure, and AWS Bedrock.
