Verizon has announced the nationwide availability of three new Motorola devices, expanding its foldable lineup just in time for the holiday season. The star of the show is the Motorola Razr Fold, the company's first book-style foldable, joined by the Razr+ 2026 and a crystal-embellished Razr 2026 created in collaboration with Swarovski.
All three devices are available now through Verizon with aggressive device payment plans, trade-in offers and bundle deals that significantly bring down the effective price.
Razr Fold: Motorola's first book-style foldable
The Razr Fold is Motorola's answer to book-style foldables like Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold series, opening up like a book to reveal a large inner display for multitasking, productivity and media. It is priced at $1,949.99, but Verizon's Simplicity plan brings it down to $25 per month on a four-year device payment plan, which works out to just $1,200 in total for the device.
Retail listings show the Razr Fold in a 512GB storage and 16GB RAM configuration, positioning it as a true ultra-premium device. With this launch, Motorola now competes in both foldable form factors: the flip-style Razr and the book-style Razr Fold.
The foldable market has been steadily maturing, with book-style devices winning over users who want a phone that doubles as a small tablet for reading, document work and split-screen multitasking. Motorola entering this space with the Razr brand behind it adds a familiar name to a category still dominated by Samsung, and gives Verizon customers a homegrown alternative to the Galaxy Z Fold line.
Razr 2026 with Swarovski crystals and Razr+ 2026
The Razr 2026 with Crystals by Swarovski is priced at $999.99, or $10 per month for four years, which totals just $480. The crystal edition adds a fashion-forward twist to the flip phone formula, targeting buyers who want their phone to double as a style statement.
The Razr+ 2026 sits between the two at $1,099.99, or $15 per month over four years for a total of $720. It comes in a 256GB storage and 12GB RAM configuration and represents the premium tier of Motorola's flip-style foldables.
Trade-ins, free watch and Google AI Pro bundle
Verizon is sweetening the deal considerably. New and existing customers on the myPlan can get up to $1,100 off with an eligible trade-in, applied as bill credits over three years. Buyers who purchase or bring their own Motorola smartphone to Verizon can also get the Moto Watch Ultra, priced at $349.99, for free when adding a new connected watch line, again through bill credits.
Verizon is additionally selling the Moto Buds 2 Plus for $149 and throwing in six months of Google AI Pro for free, which includes Gemini access and 5TB of Google Drive cloud storage. After the free period, customers can continue at 50 percent off, paying $10 per month instead of $20. The offer applies to customers on eligible Simplicity, myPlan, FWA and Fios plans.
What this means for buyers in Pakistan
The Verizon launch is US-specific, and foldable phones from Motorola rarely make it to official retail in Pakistan. Motorola does have an official presence in the country with devices like the Edge series, but the Razr lineup has historically been absent from local shelves.
It is also worth noting that Motorola's software story has been improving, with the company expanding its Qira AI assistant across the Razr, Signature and Edge series alongside Android 17, including features like notification summaries and generative wallpapers. Buyers of the new foldables can expect that same AI layer on top of the hardware.
If the Razr Fold does reach Pakistan through unofficial importers, expect a steep price tag. At $1,949.99, a direct conversion puts it well above Rs 500,000, and with import duties and retailer margins, local street prices could climb even higher. This is only an estimate. For now, Pakistani buyers eyeing a Motorola foldable will need to look to the grey market or international retailers, while local shoppers can watch whether Motorola Pakistan decides to bring the Razr line home this time around.
