The company announced the milestone in a social media post on September 24, 2026, writing: "Today, 18 months after launch, our annualized revenue crossed $1 billion." The platform now serves more than 30 million users worldwide, according to the company.
The fastest revenue ramp in AI
Higgsfield says its revenue has grown 20 times since September 2025, a pace it claims beat Anthropic, OpenAI, Cursor, Surge AI, and Ramp on the same metric.
The company's own figures trace the climb from roughly $200 million at the end of 2025 to $500 million in June 2026, then $700 million in August, before crossing the billion-dollar mark this month.
That figure is an annualized run rate — the company multiplies its most recent four weeks of revenue by 13 — rather than audited trailing revenue, and the figures are company-reported rather than independently verified. Still, the trajectory is striking: the business barely existed in commercial terms a year ago.
Agencies and the Fortune 500 are paying
Unlike many AI startups chasing consumer hype, Higgsfield earns most of its revenue from creative agencies and enterprises. The company says enterprise adoption has grown tenfold since June and twentyfold since September 2025, driven in large part by direct-to-consumer brands using AI-generated video for advertisements.
The company reports 300 percent net revenue retention, meaning existing customers sharply increase spending over time, along with positive gross margins and cash-flow-positive operations — a rarity among fast-growing AI application startups.
It runs the operation with roughly 60 core engineers, and raised a Series B round in August 2026 at a $5.4 billion valuation led by DST Global.
A $20 million cashback push for the API
To mark the milestone, Higgsfield launched a $20 million cashback program for businesses building on its API models, including Seedance 2.5 and Kling 3.0. Eligible businesses can receive up to $100,000 back, with the offer running through September 30.
The milestone underscores a broader shift in the AI economy: while foundation model companies have attracted most of the investment, application-layer startups like Higgsfield are now demonstrating that they can build durable, profitable businesses on top of generative models.
Whether the run rate holds will be the next test for the young company.
