Dapta, a startup building AI sales agents for small and medium-sized businesses, has raised $6 million in seed funding to accelerate its expansion across the United States and Latin America.
The company announced the round on October 13, saying its flagship product, the Dapti AI agent, has surpassed 200,000 users and $4 million in annual revenue.
The round was led by Chingona Ventures, with participation from Crew Capital, Broom Ventures, and Cometa VC.
Existing pre-seed investors 500 Global and Fen Ventures also joined, bringing Dapta's total capital raised to $7.4 million, according to FinSMEs.
The startup previously raised a $1.4 million pre-seed round in 2024.
An always-on sales rep for small teams
Dapti is designed to act as the instant-response sales rep that most small businesses cannot afford to staff.
The AI agent answers inbound inquiries the moment a prospect reaches out, qualifies leads, and schedules meetings without human intervention, integrating AI voice and text agents across sales and customer service workflows.
The pitch is aimed squarely at businesses where responding quickly can decide whether a caller becomes a customer: financial services firms, home services companies, law firms, and insurance brokers.
Dapta says customers using Dapti have improved their contact rates, though the company has not published independent benchmarks for those claims.
Built for the fastest-growing corner of small business
E.
Dapta was founded by serial entrepreneur Nicolás Rojas, whom Forbes has recognized as a rising talent transforming Latin America.
The startup first found traction among Spanish-speaking small business owners in the United States, a segment the 10th annual State of Latino Entrepreneurship report says grew 44 percent over the last five years, making it one of the fastest-growing parts of the US small business economy.
"Every SMB will have AI agents in the same way as they have physical addresses, phone numbers, websites and social media channels," Rojas said.
"Dapti is already used by more than 200K users, growing by upwards of 4K new users every week, the vast majority acquired through our own social channels.
This growth reflects how ready SMBs are to embrace AI as a core part of how they do business."
The numbers behind the round
For a seed-stage startup, Dapta's economics are unusual.
The company says it generates more than $4 million in annual revenue, a figure that doubled in the six months leading up to October 2026, and that Dapti adds over 4,000 users per week, mostly through its own social channels.
Those are company-reported measures rather than independently audited results.
The fresh capital will fund expansion across the US and Latin America, deepen technology and product development, and drive customer acquisition and team growth.
The company did not disclose a valuation or the terms of the financing.
Operating from Scottsdale, Arizona, and Miami, Dapta is betting that the AI agent wave will reach Main Street long before it is finished transforming the enterprise.
