The round underlines the growing appetite among investors for AI companies that automate complex, industry-specific workflows, as businesses look for ways to cut administrative workloads and improve efficiency. According to the Bank of America Institute, AI spending growth among mid-sized firms peaked in August, with adoption concentrated in service industries such as healthcare and education, where companies are using AI to automate administrative tasks, documentation and communication. What EliseAI actually does
EliseAI operates two main product lines. Its housing platform automates tasks such as leasing, maintenance and renewals for property managers, taking over the repetitive front-office work that normally ties up leasing teams. Its healthcare business helps physician groups manage patient intake, scheduling, insurance checks, referrals and follow-ups — the administrative layer where many clinics lose both time and revenue.
The company was valued at $2.2 billion in a Series E funding round in 2025, meaning the latest round has roughly doubled its valuation in about a year. EliseAI said in June that it had surpassed $200 million in annual recurring revenue, doubling revenue year over year for the fifth consecutive year — a consistency that has made it a standout in the applied-AI space.
Where the money goes next
EliseAI said it plans to use the new funds to expand its engineering, deployment and sales teams, and to establish San Francisco as a second engineering hub alongside its New York headquarters. The dual-coast engineering setup points to a company preparing for a larger, more competitive hiring push as demand for AI talent keeps climbing.
The round adds to a busy year for applied-AI funding, where vertical startups with genuine revenue traction are attracting larger checks even as generalist AI products face tougher questions about defensibility. With five straight years of revenue doubling and marquee venture firms plus institutional capital on the cap table, EliseAI now carries one of the strongest operating track records of any AI startup raising in 2026. The new capital is expected to accelerate product rollout across both the housing and healthcare divisions
